I have played volleyball for about seven years on and off, and over the past two and a half years I have committed myself to the sport at a professional and competitive level. I developed many of my skills through Unity summer camps and training programs, which helped shape the athlete I am today.

I been playing volleyball almost my whole life but only played rep for 3 years. I’ve been coaching skills development at ronin volleyball for over 2 years and this is my first year assisting for a rep team.

I started with Unity at 12 years old, coming up through the academies and rep teams. Now, I’ve come back as a new coach to bring my passion for the game back to Unity. I’m in my first year as a coach, but I’ve learned from the best of the best in my time as a player and it’s my hope that I can keep the same level of care within the club and it’s future. I’ll see you on the court!

I’ve head coached the 18u Unity, assistant coached the 17u Unity girls and Leaside Surge. I have also coached academies for unity for many years. What I love about coaching is giving the next generation of players as much wisdom as I possibly can, so that they can be better players and people. I am also a photographer.

I’ve been exposed to volleyball since I was five, and loved the game since. I’ve played in development programs until grade 5 and then entered competitive volleyball until I got too old. I’ve won 1 13u boys provincial title, 1 14u boys provincial finals title,1 14u boys national title, 1 16u boys national finals title, 1 17u boys provincial 9th, and 1 17u national 9th. What I love about coaching is the opportunity to pass on the knowledge that coaches have given me to succeed onto the next generation. I quite enjoy when I can share the experience where the kids “click” with a skill and their face lights up. Now that I’m too old to play, I find joy in the competitive environments that I used to be in, except now I find it in coaching and cheering on the teams and players I’ve coached over the years.
